Venezuelan Equine Encephalomyelitis

Other Names: Venezuelan Equine Encephalomyelitis (VEE), Sleeping Sickness, Peste Loca, Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis, Venezuelan Encephalitis, Venezuelan Equine Fever
Venezuelan equine encephalomyelitis is a mosquito-borne viral infection that can cause severe encephalitis in horses and humans. It can also occasionally cause disease in other mammals and birds.
